Waking up with a feeling of dread, Sarah Lynn Dean attempts to go on with her day. Getting closer to her destination she is overwhelmed with such feelings of pain and sadness. It causes her to make a spur of the moment decision. A decision that not only changes her course but her life forever.

One day can change forever.

Adam Castiel Parker is stunned by the beautiful stranger. Compelled to follow her, he must find out who she is. Before he takes his next step the loud noise behind him steal his attention. Turning to find the source, he loses the beautiful stranger.

Will she be lost forever? Will he ever be able to thank her for the gift she gave to him without even knowing?

Never to be forgotten.

Sarah must learn that life must go on even on the darkest of days. A day that irrevocably changes the world!

Very sweet story about finding love when you least expect it.

Sarah has had a rough life. Growing up in the foster system she got lucky to get “taken in” by a wealthy couple, Pamela and Jonathan. Pamela was the closest thing Sarah had to a mom. When she dies suddenly in an accident Sarah is heartbroken. Luckily, Pamela loved Sarah just as much and makes sure Jonathan takes care of her. Wanting to follow his wife’s wishes, Sarah becomes the girls live-in nanny, helping him raise Jessica and Nicole, and pays for her education to NYU.

Sadly, Sarah life takes another rough blow when she loses Jonathan in the 9/11 attacks. Pamela and Jonathan, knowing that no one would love their girls as much as Sarah, they leave her and the girls everything. They ask that she please adopt and raise them. Jessica and Nicole become her whole world. She finishes her degree at NYU and becomes a writer with her first traditionally published book.

Adam was just going to first day of work, running late, like most people in NYC. His attention gets distracted by the beautiful dark-haired stranger walking with two little girls. Not knowing why he is attracted to this beautiful stranger he takes to follow her but then he hears the first plane hit. The world stops and his beautiful stranger is lost. That day not only saved his life but changed it. Changing everything he planned on doing, he goes back to school and becomes a social worker. Helping kids in the system find good homes. Safe homes. He never forgets his beautiful stranger.

A chance encounter brings their two worlds together and begins this beautiful and sweet love story. I enjoyed the story that Mrs. Lykins wrote. She really does have a knack for capturing the sweetness and innocence in her characters. Her writing can come across a tad formal and staccato-ish but you can try to look past it if you like the sweetness of clean romance. Sarah has some spunk to her which was a great plus those two little girls, Nicole and Jessica, had me laughing. I like my books with a bit more drama and steam but this was a great, short decompress book.

About T.R. Lykins

Being a stay at home mom, I became a reader who loves and reads most genres. I’ve read over a thousand books in the past five years. The love of these books spiked my interest to learn more about the book world and the process it took to become an author. Ive had this story building in my head for over a year and I just needed to share it. So, educating myself in this industry has made me work hard to obtain my goals of writing and becoming an author. The learning process has made me appreciate what all these authors have accomplished and all the hard work they put in. I can’t wait to share my story with you!!!
