I enjoyed reading this book, but Killian really pissed me off.
Killian and Sloane have been neighbors for so long. Then one day they aren’t. When Sloane’s parents die, she is left to live with her Uncle and her Aunt (whose a total ‘B’). The week or so before she is able to have possession of half her father’s company (her Uncle owns the other half), Killian comes back into her life and she has no choice but to give up her life and go with him. Other events happen, like a BIG secret between family that almost kills Killian and Sloane.
The way Killian treats Sloane is so wrong, and the way he is becomes “possessive” of her drove me crazy. I won’t lie, the sex scenes were great, but I just thought Killian was such an ass.
Although I didn’t like the way Killian treated Sloane, the book was still good. The characters were fantastic and the plot was great. If this is a series (which I don’t think it is) I would totally read the next in the series.
