Sydney is determined to have a twenty-third party to be remembered and when her grandfather decides the celebration should be on his brand new yacht, the Landvik III, this isn't the only surprise in store for the uptown girl who has everything but love...
Kasper "Kaz" Gillian dropped his family a long time ago to form Scarlet Fever, one of the biggest rock and roll banks in the world and definitely in the twenty-first century.
When Sydney and Kasper meet, there is an instant explosion of emotions. The sexual tension is so thick, it could be cut with a butter knife and before either of them realize it, they have fallen into Lust...
Sydney is a spoiled rich girl and her grandfather buys the rock band Scarlet Fever to play a private concert for her twenty-third birthday. That’s when Sydney meets lead singer Kasper Gillian better known as Kaz. Kaz and Sydney have some kind of instant connection but there is more than just lust. Sydney is a virgin and decides Kaz will be her first. After a weekend spent on a yacht for her birthday the group travels to LA. There Sydney and Kaz spend 6 weeks on a trial relationship.
I know it seems like I have not rated this book very high considering I did like it. There were parts of the book got a little steamy which I certainly enjoyed. I found the character development a little shallow but then I hit the end of the book and realize its a novella trilogy. I’m trying desperately not to one click away on only because I am on a self imposed Amazon timeout….hehe
So with that in mind my view of the story is a little different now. I see it just a small introduction to the main characters of the series and that each character will probably be more developed as the series progresses. I am looking forward on getting to know the characters better. Kaz is on his way to becoming a book boyfriend….oh how I love my rockstar, alpha dominate male types. Only good things can come from getting to know him better. I can’t wait to see how Kaz and Sydney’s relationship develops in the next book. All three books are out so that is always a good thing.
