From the New York Times bestselling indie author, the conclusion to the sexy contemporary romance that began in Collide, about a woman torn between her seemingly perfect boyfriend and a dark, mysterious stranger.

“Do you know how scary it is to want something so bad you’re willing to change your whole life for it?”

Emily Cooper is ready to risk everything to be with the man who has consumed her thoughts and dreams since the fateful day they met. Unraveling fast, she can only cling to the hope that Gavin Blake still wants her.

Nursing his wounded heart, Gavin has cut himself off from society and retreated into a self-destructive, mind-numbing world. Emily isn’t used to being the strong one, but she’ll have to find the daring and confidence within to fight for their love and bring Gavin back from the edge—even if it means losing herself to their all-consuming, pulse-pounding passion. A New York Times bestseller, Pulse is the unforgettable conclusion to the story of Emily and Gavin that began with Collide.

Pulse begins exactly where Collide ends….

Dillon the douche doesn’t take Emily calling off the wedding the day of and beats her ass. This leads to her finally getting her head on straight and realizing just how much she has fucked up. In a twisted way I like seeing Emily suffer a little. She was such a bitch to Gavin. I’m going to be real with you I’m soooo team Gavin…..he can do no wrong to me. That’s right Emily, I’m not going to let you off so easy for being such a stupid bitch to Gavin.

All I want in this book is for Gavin to finally be happy even if it means forgiving Emily. I will deal with that for the greater good of my Gavin but luckily Emily finally redeems herself by chasing after Gavin. I was totally OK with her guilt. It was well yell placed for all her stupidity. Okay so the HEA should begin right? Ahh… if it only were that easy with these two.

Emily finds out she’s pregnant and in typical Emily fashion, she has no idea who the dad is. Dillon the douche or Gavin. She slept with both around time of conception so let the games begin. Pulse is not as up and down roller coaster as Collide but Gail still brings that good drama.

Gavin, being the sweetheart he is, promises to be by her side through everything…..good or bad. Ohhhh….how that man makes me swoon. I

The best thing is that Emily has finally grown up and redeemed herself so now I like her. Well, within reason her people after all she has Gavin and I don’t so I’m slightly jealous and may still have to bitch slap her.

This book combo receives 5 stars because I read both books back to back in a 4 hour period. I dreamed about it all night and couldn’t wait to get up and write this review this morning….I love you Gail…you are now on my list of fave authors.
