“If you’re broken, I’ll fix you…”

I’m only twenty-one and already damaged goods. A slut. A failure. A disappointment to my picture-perfect family as long as I can remember. I called off my wedding to William Bailey, the only man who thought I was worth fixing. A year later, he’s marrying my sister. Unless I ask him not to…

“If you shatter, I’ll find you…”

But now there’s Asher Logan, a broken man who sees the fractures in my façade and doesn’t want to fix me at all. Asher wants me to stop hiding, to stop pretending. Asher wants to break down my walls. But that means letting him see my ugly secrets and forgiving him for his.

With my past weighing down on me, do I want the man who holds me together or the man who gives me permission to break?

Omg, I love this book! I love Lexi Ryan’s writing. From beginning to end I could not put this book down. This was not your typical love triangle. There I thought I knew what would happen,  there was another twist and layer to this amazing story.

Maggie Thompson is coming home for the first time in over a year. She came back to New Hope for her sister’s wedding….. to her ex-fiancé Will. She was engaged to Will the year before but called off their wedding, two days before their big day. Her decision left broken hearts and a lot of questions. But, she had her reasons. At 21, she had already faced so much drama in her life. She was labeled the town slut and rumors and lies followed her. She truly didn’t love herself and carried around a lot of hurt. Maggie was sassy, bold, and honest about most things, except when it came to her heart.

“Don’t be afraid to shatter, baby, if that will set you free. I’ll find you in the pieces and that will unbreak me.”

When her sister’s wedding ceremony is sabotaged it leads to the possibility of second chances. Maggie ends up meeting Asher Logan at the wedding. Damn, Asher was hot! He’s an ex-musician with his own past. Even with his bad boy looks, he was sexy, sweet, and a gentleman. Maggie and Asher have an instant chemistry. You could feel their attraction for each other. As much as he wanted her physically he wanted things between them to be more than sex. He wanted to break down her walls and get to know the true Maggie. Even though she is attracted to Asher, she still cared for Will.

“If you’re broken, I’ll fix you”

Will, my dear sweet Will. He and Maggie had been  best friends and he loved her fiercely. When she left, it broke his heart. He tried to move on and ended up falling in love with her sister.  Despite that, he still wanted Maggie deep down. He still loved her and wanted to protect her.

This was not your typical love triangle. It was so much more than that. It was also about loving yourself and wanting to be loved. Maggie had two amazing men in her life and all the wanted to do was love and protect her; to let her know she was worth it. I loved both Asher and Will and I almost couldn’t decide who I wanted her to end up with. I was so happy with her choice though. Maggie’s character grew tremendously throughout the story. I loved these characters and I was just sucked into their world.  I felt so much for them. Lexi wrote this story wonderfully and I can excited to read the next installment.
