Organization – that’s what I do. Control – it’s my middle name.

Hello. I’m Elizabeth – your personal concierge. My job is to play fairy godmother to the rich and famous.

The universal rulebook may say to never mix business with pleasure, but its author never worked for Grant Morgan, my sexy and brooding client. As a top attorney in Manhattan, Grant is used to calling the shots and dominating everything he touches. He also changes girlfriends as often as I pick up his dry cleaning. A part of me still wishes I could let him command my body and take me in ways I’ve never imagined, though.

One moment of weakness is all it takes to change everything forever.

Addicted – I can’t get enough of him. Consumed – He’s all I think and dream about.

The book has officially been thrown out the window. I’m in love and completely terrified. With lines blurred, I find myself lying, cheating and stealing to protect myself from being hurt. But my choices affect more than just me and now I’m not so sure what I’m trying to protect myself from.

Will love be enough to erase all I’ve done? Or have I made the biggest mistake of all?

Just from the teasers alone, I knew this was going to be a hot story and Jessica did not let me down. Elizabeth Wade is smart, beautiful, and fiercely independent. She is a concierge or personal assistant to some elite clientele and she sees and hears so much of their dirty laundry. Her one major rule is that she doesn’t date clients, but when she takes on the very sexy Grant Morgan as one of her clients, he makes her want to break her rule.

“I only wanted Grant to watch me. Only wanted him to touch me. Only wanted him to want me. It was dangerous. It was reckless. I was everything I wasn’t.”
When Liz and Grant meet the sparks fly. It’s hot and intense. Did I mention they meet at the White Rabbit and Tina, Nat, and the girls from Belle Aurora’s Friend-Zoned make an appearance!! Sorry I had a fan girl moment with that. Elizabeth doesn’t want to break her rule but Grant wants her and he makes it know. The more and more they meet, their attraction builds and neither can fight it.
“Invite me in, Elizabeth. I won’t leave here until I’ve had you beneath me, writhing and moaning and calling my name…Invite me in.”
The two of them together was so so hot! Grant loved to take control in bedroom and he brought out the wilder side of Elizabeth. Despite all the rumors of his play boy ways, Grant was surprisingly sweet and he genuinely seemed to care about Elizabeth. Elizabeth was always standoff-ish when it came to relationship but Grant broke down the walls she put up and she found herself easily falling for him. Grant hasn’t been in a serious relationship in years but with Elizabeth he wants to try.
“Don’t you see that as long as we are together, my job is to take away your burdens? I want to be the one you lean on. You can’t always do it alone. Sometimes you need someone to rely on. Let me be that someone. Let me take care of you.”
No relationship is easy and both Elizabeth and Grant had trust issues and doubts. And with people in their lives spreading rumors, it caused some huge misunderstandings that eventually started to drive the two apart. At times I wanted to come through my kindle and shake both Elizabeth and Grant. They were both so stubborn and distrusting at times that neither could see what was right in front of them. There was some definite drama, lots of steam, and it keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next. Maya, Travis, and Elizabeth’s mom were some great side characters and they served as their voice of reasoning. The epilogue was perfect and completed the story so well. 4 stars
“When you get a chance at happiness, you reach out with both hands and grab it tight. No one stops us from being happy apart from ourselves.”
